Street smart and Gina were great to work with! helped me with getting the parts I needed, but ended up I am just going to get rid of the car since I don't have time to work on it and they were very understanding and gracious on allowing me to return the parts and only pay a small re-stocking fee. I was a little hesitant to buy from Street Smart because their price on the reman trans was $1500-$3000 less than their competitors. However, all went well! Fast delivery- transmission arrived within a week. Good customer service- quick replies to emails, thoroughly answered all questions, and they were easy to get on the phone when I had more questions. Solid transmission- same as any other reman, and easy installation guide (not a lot of restrictions) Core return easy- click a button, enter info, Core pickup scheduled. Warranty is clearly printed without any major disqualifying print.

The only thing good so far was the shipping . Installed a 3K reman transmission and can't pull out of the bay , Setting valve body codes from the start . Customer service ???? , not so sure about that . Supposedly going to have a tech call me tomorrow so I can get the same run-a-round from somebody else at the company. You may want to do a lot more research before contacting this company about your transmission needs . Update,I spoke with the People from Street Smart transmission and was approved for a replacement that I was told was shipped out and that I should have by Friday 3/20 /26 so I'm thinking great I can get my truck fixed but nope that is not the case . R & L Carriers states that the transmission didn't ship ( was not provided to them ) until 3/19 /26 , the day before it was supposed to arrive here in Florida from Wisconsin . That means these idiots LIED to me AGAIN . So now I am two weeks and 3K deep in a rebuilt transmission from Street Smart that these people want to LIE about . Obviously Street Smart was NOT one of my better decisions . Hope this helps prevent this happening to anyone else . I noticed also that I have not been contacted by the owner as has suppose

We are family owned shop in Indiana, we have tried several companies for rebuilt ecm, tcm, abs, and other modules. Street Smart is the only company we've NEVER had an issue with. Customer service is top notch, repairs are correct, shipping is fast, and concerns are fixed. 110% would recommend to ANYONE. Love these guys!

I own a 2008 Jeep Wrangler with the notorious 42rle transmission. One day on my way home from work, it decided it was time to eat itself, immediately popped out of gear and acted like it was in neutral and I would have to rev real high to get it to grab gear again. So I costed into a parking lot and awaited a tow home where I could diagnose and think about my next move. Upon further inspection, the transmission was indeed done. I began to research about remanufactured vs rebuilds, and even pondered a junk yard trans. After reading all over the internet and reading reviews, I decided to go with a reman best bang for the buck in my opinion. However the next issue was where and who to get it from. I also learned a lot of places will only sell to shops and not backyard mechanics like myself. I also discovered that there are from what I gathered a lot of bad remanufacturing companies and a lot of people with bad experiences, which put a doubt in my mind.
